Organize Your Home – Living Room

Published by E. Rose on 6th Aug 2019

Living room storage houses a lot. Books, magazines, remotes, and party games, to name a few. Besides the ubiquitous tchotchkes, you'll want to keep most of these tucked away, out of sight. Here are some ideas on how to keep your living room organized, while maintaining that homey feel.

Living room - where the living happens. Used for entertaining friends, watching TV, chatting, and just generally couch potato-ing, its the central hub of a home for most of us.

Storage Trunks

A large storage trunk houses a ton of storage, and acts as a statement furnishing piece. Pillows, throws, and other bulky items all fit it.
Bonus points for a trunk large enough to double as a coffee table - now that's style!

Trays

Let's admit it: while dining rooms are meant to be the official eating areas of the home, how often do we grab a snack on the couch? Prevent awkward plate balancing and nasty spills with an eating tray. A lap tray works well for popcorn munching, but you may want to invest in a decorative folding tray if you eat dinner on the couch often or have guests over.

End Tables

Situated at the side of a sofa, a stylish little table can do wonders to a room. Taller than a coffee table, an end table reaches up to the armrest, so its always handy.
